A felted boot factory in the town of Yaroslavia, a thousand-year-old trading center. The working conditions in this factory were not pleasant. It was hot, smelly, and dusty. The women work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and earn about $350 a month.Labels: Travel

I'm a retired nurse who wonders how I ever had time to work. Now I spend a good part of my life knitting and teaching knitting. I'm married to the same man for 50 years and we have 2 adult daughters, 1 adult son,9 grandchildren ages 20 to 8 and a new great grandaughter. My Travel Friend and I started a chapter of The Red Hat Society.
